On 29th and 30th March, Mike George, Founder and Director MyTAG, presented seminars in
conjunction with MyTAG’s partners, Abbey Business Group. The seminars, held in Cheltenham, demonstrated the range of innovative MyTAG solutions, and how these could support the attendees’ businesses.
MyTAG is a stand-alone cloud based system, which is inexpensive and quick and easy to
use, with very little training required. The platform is secure and the data can be proven through the use of NFC, GPS and HID Trusted Tags. It provides real-time management information, with all reporting by exception, to highlight the actions that need to be taken.
Existing applications include:
Proof of presence: for security patrols, maintenance and service visits.
Proof of compliance: including fire extinguisher, emergency lighting, sprinkler system and fan cool system testing.
Proof of ID: applications include home health care visits, employee permissions in hospitals, student attendance in education and licenses to operate machinery in industry.
Key and asset management: used by estate agents and property agents and managers for monitoring and tracking keys, bicycles, heaters and other portable assets.
Lone worker: a simple to use, intuitive system to help ensure the safety of employees, such as estate agents and service providers, when working alone.
Time and attendance: a simple to use system for cleaning, housekeeping and other service employees.
With the internet of things and wireless technology developing rapidly, Mike shared some of MyTAG’s innovations for the future, including novel condition monitoring of assets, which is better, faster and cheaper than current solutions, and employee tracking in buildings.
