MyTAG has announced that its unique technology platform has been selected by CityPoint in London to streamline the security and management systems for its 35-story building. The cloud-based system is being used to track 220 physical keys, improve the security guard patrol of 295 checkpoints and manage contractors. CityPoint’s overall objective was to maintain the highest security standards to protect staff, tenants, guests and assets, whilst ensuring seamless day-to-day operation of the building.

MyTAG has significantly improved the key management process, saving time and replacing old, paper based systems. Security patrols deliver greater peace of mind for tenants and employees, through proof of presence and more accurate and detailed reporting. Accurate, auditable time and attendance also provides detailed electronic records of visitors, facilitating contractor management and accurate invoicing. The single system uses HID Trusted TAG Services and has been deployed using the existing CityPoint computer infrastructure.

Lee Murray, Building Manager, CityPoint commented: “ MyTAG showed us how their solutions, integrated with NFC technology from HID Global, could enhance the accuracy and efficiency across our key management, security guard patrol and contract management functions – all using a common platform.”

Mike George, Director MyTAG commented: “We are delighted that CityPoint has selected the unique MyTAG technology. The trusted proof of presence, security and tracking solutions can be used to safeguard people, property and assets. The system is straightforward and low cost to install, savings time and money in the property and facilities management sectors by replacing outdated processes with trusted and secure cloud based solutions.”
